“James designed and supervised the building of our kitchen dining room. This involved knocking through from our existing kitchen into a rear games room,
into a bathroom and shower room, into a side passageway, also into a laundry room and rear garage space. A total area of 110 m2 needed to be demolished and rebuilt. James designed the room from the outset. He had lots of great ideas such as shadow gaps in the roof lights, an internal glass atrium, and many other features which we feel have given the room a real wow factor. James made several re-designs for us along the way as we changed our mind and had other ideas, until he came up with a design that we were all happy with. He helped us through the tender process and guided us with our choice of builder and the quotes we were receiving. He supervised the build and dealt with the builders. We would have been lost without him as he project managed superbly and ensured that items were only paid for once on site and made sure that stage payments were monitored and evidenced. He was a go- between between ourselves and the building company, which proved invaluable on many occasions. He was extremely pleasant, patient and cheerful throughout and a pleasure to work with. We valued his input greatly and remain very grateful to him for the lovely space he has created for us which is exactly what we were hoping for but just far better, and is admired by everyone who sees it.”

"James was in charge for the extension and renovation of our house. The project is a single and double story extension to the back and side with renovations of existing rooms. The total floor area of the property is 366 square meters.
James was punctual in his meetings and always came well prepared. He had great ideas and was excellent at transferring our thoughts into creative designs. He was patient with our changes to the plans and made countless revisions until they were complete, and his input was extremely valuable to us.
From the onset, James had to work with the restrictions imposed on the build both at the front and at the back. He was instrumental in gathering the right evidence and using his experience of similar planning applications he managed to get the plans accepted without any delay.
James initiated and guided us through the tender process. He used his extensive knowledge of costs to help us choose the builder. When one builder
declared bankruptcy, James informed us without any delay, and this helped us avoid long delays on the project.
